Supporters Contribute More Than Funds
Over the years, our supporters have become our partners. Together, we are making an investment in Saratoga Springs and promoting the future of great young minds. Some of the program’s most impactful core initiatives are the direct result of our donors’ input and generosity.
This is a local cause. It benefits students of the Saratoga Springs School District. At any given time, we support 70 young people on their academic journeys. Many of these individuals are the first in their families to attend college, changing the trajectory of future generations.
Our Site is the Saratoga School System.
Our onsite coordinators are members of the Saratoga Springs School’s Guidance Department, giving us the ability to follow each scholar’s academic progress regularly.
There is Accountability.
Each scholar pledges to maintain a certain academic average, attend mandatory weekly study sessions, individually meet with their assigned mentors and attend tutoring classes if their grades fall below certain levels.
The Program Works.
Our success rate has been phenomenal! Our scholars have been accepted into many prestigious colleges, including Williams College, Cornell University, Columbia University, RPI, Skidmore, Saint Lawrence, NYU, Siena College, and more!
- Since 2009,150 Saratoga Springs High School students have benefited from this program
- 100% of our scholars have been accepted to college
- Over 90% of our college students have completed their education on schedule
